A fish-finder-GPS is quite often very useful with sonar displayed on one side and a GPS map displayed on the other. Other uses include viewing different sonar frequencies and cone angles side-by-side, available in mid-range to high-end units. Some sonar models like to use one side of the screen to choose a zoom area from, to display on the other side of the screen. |
