Single Frequency Sonar Plus Color GPS

The Eagle FishElite 642c iGPS is a single frequency depth finder GPS device suitable for coastal and inland waterways. The GPS scans 12 satellite channels in parallel, and also detects WAAS signal presence. Results are displayed on a high definition, high resolution display. The relevant part number is #116-18.

Display
The 5.0 inch, 256 color screen has a resolution of 640 pixels by 480 pixels. The display and keypad backlight can be set to multiple intensity levels for navigation in the dark.

Fish Finder
This is a single frequency fishfinder which pings at 200 kHz with a cone angle of 20°. Maximum power output is 1500 W peak to peak and 180 W RMS. Providing premium water conditions, a good transducer installation, and correct sonar settings exist a maximum depth of 800 feet is possible.

Fish Finder Features
Setup alarms to notify for shallow water, deepwater, and fish activity. The fishfinder will continuously track bottom contours and keep them in perspective. Zoom mode can be used with the split screen to further analyze returning signals.

GPS Receiver
This is a 12 channel internal GPS antenna receiver which scans for up to 12 orbiting satellites and WAAS signals.

Memory
Load up to 1 GB of custom maps into the 642C through the memory slot which accepts MMC and SD data cards. Internal memory saves user settings and sonar and GPS records when the unit is switched off.

Built In Maps
The standard eagle background map is included and covers the continental USA and Hawaii. This is a medium detail map of the US coast and Great Lakes areas and helps navigation and fishing efforts through the inclusion of 60,000 navigational aids and 10,000 wrecks and obstructions.

GPS Features
Set up alarms to indicate arrival to a destination, off-course situations, and anchor drift. Set up to 1000 waypoints, 1000 event markers, 100 routes, and 10 plot trails.

Installation
10 to 15 V DC is required to power this unit. The overall size is 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. It is sealed and waterproof and ready for salt water or freshwater use.
