Dual Frequency Sonar Plus Color GPS

The Eagle SeaCharter 500C DF is a dual frequency echo sounder and GPS combo. GPS signals are received through the external antenna. Sonar signals and GPS coordinates may be viewed in the mid sized color LCD. Custom maps may be uploaded to the device and data is stored on the MMC and SD data cards. Display
This 256 color TFT LCD has a 5 inch diagonal. Viewing preferences can be programmed. It supports a resolution of 320 pixels by 240 pixels. The screen and keypad are backlit for night use.

Fish Finder
This is a dual frequency fishfinder device operating at 50 kHz and 200 kHz over a cone angle of 35° and 12° respectively. Maximum power of 4000 W peak to peak or 500 W RMS can be output. Maximum depth of 1500 feet or 450 m is achieved at low frequency with optimal water conditions, installation, and fish finder settings.

Fish Finder Features
Standard features include automatic ranging, off bottom tracking, and zoom bottom tracking. Easily set audible alarms to alert for shallow water, or to indicate when certain depth range is exceeded, or the presence of fish.

GPS Receiver
This unit uses an external EGC-12w receiver antenna with 12 parallel GPS channels and WAAS capability.

Memory
1 GB of mapping memory is available and can be loaded through a single MMC or SD data card.

Built In Maps
The standard Eagle background map is built in.

GPS Features
Custom maps may be added. Save up to 1000 waypoints, 1000 event markers, 100 routes and up to 10 plot trails. Choose from up to 42 symbols to mark points on your map. Zoom into the map from 4000 miles down to 0.02 miles over 40 different ranges. Set alarms to alert for arrival, off course, and anchor drift.

Installation
Required input power is 10 to 15 V DC. The unit size is 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. It is sealed and waterproof and recommended for salt water use.
