Fish Finder The sonar unit operates on two frequencies 50 kHz and 200 kHz. The dual frequency Skimmer transducer emits cone angles of 35° and 12° respectively. Power output is up to 4000 W peak to peak or 500 W RMS. This achieves a maximum depth of 1500 feet on low frequency. True sonar performance depends on water conditions, transducer settings, and fishfinder device settings. A temperature sensor is built into the transducer.
Fish Finder Features This device continuously scans for bottom contour and fish sonar echoes. It can do so automatically when auto tracking features are set. When the sounder is first switched on it will automatically detect the bottom and will continue to do so unless set manually. Split screen zoom helps to analyze fish finder results at different depths. The temperature sensor built into the transducer returns surface temperature readings.
GPS Receiver The internal GPS antenna receiver scans 12 GPS channels in parallel and supports WAAS navigation signals for even more accuracy.
