Humminbird 383c Combo Fish Finder GPS Color Dual Beam And GPSThe Humminbird 383c Combo is a dual frequency sonar device with GPS installed and a built-in map. Sonar results and GPS maps are displayed in bright color on the 3.5 inch screen. Sonar can reach a depth of 1000 feet providing the transducer is correctly installed, good water conditions exist, and the sonar devices correctly set up.
Display
The 383C display is 3.5 inches when measured diagonally and has a resolution of 320 vertical pixels by 240 horizontal pixels. It can display up to 256 different colors. An adjustable backlight is included for night fishing.
Fish Finder
The Fish finder power output is 300 W RMS and 2400 W peak to peak which manages to reach a depth of 1000 feet. It transmits at 200 kHz and 83 kHz with cone angles of 20° and 60° at -10 DB. The transom mount transducer is included and the part number is XHS 9 20 T. A surface water temperature sensor is built in. Several alarms are built-in including a depth alarm, a fish ID alarm, a low battery alarm, and a temperature alarm.
Fish Finder Features
Built-in alarms include an off-course alarm, and arrival alarm, and a drift and alarm. Four different zoom levels are available, i.e. 2x,4x,6x, and 8x.
GPS Receiver
The 16 channel GPS receiver antenna is installed internally and has WAAS and EGNOS capability which when available increases accuracy considerably.
Memory
Feature memory saves user settings when unit is powered down.
Built In Maps
A 4 nautical mile Unimap is built-in which displays inland lakes, rivers and coastline.
GPS Features
Save up to 750 waypoints, 20 routes, and 10 tracks.
Installation
This unit requires 10 to 20 V DC. The unit size is 5.25 inches wide by 7.4 inches high by 4 inches deep when mounted. |
