Humminbird 757c Combo Fish Finder GPS Dual Frequency With Down Rigger Control TechnologyThe new Humminbird 757c Combo combines dual frequency sonar and highly accurate GPS to displays results on a high definition 320 x 240 pixel TFT color display. This unit is equipped with award-winning CanonLink technology designed especially to display, track and monitor downriggers while boat fishing.
Display The sunlight viewable TFT display boasts 256 colors, the resolution of 320 vertical pixels by 240 horizontal pixels, and a 5 inch screen when measured diagonally. A backlight is also installed.
Fish Finder This is a dual frequency fishfinder operating at both 83 kHz and 200 kHz. The coverage angles are 60° and 20° at -10 DB respectively. Because this is a DualBeam Plus unit, both frequency signals may be displayed either at the same time, individually, or simultaneously on the split screen. The maximum depth capability is 1500 feet depending on sonar settings and optimizations, transducer installation, and salt water or freshwater use. Transmission range decreases in salt water.
Fish Finder Features This fishfinder is considered a Humminbird Fishing System which facilitates connection to external instrumentation as optional add-ons. One of the standout features is the award-winning ability to connect to up to six Canon Mag 20 DT downriggers or Mag 20 DT/HS downriggers. This technology won the 2007 Miami International Boat Show Award for innovation in the consumer electronics and software category. The CanonLink connection allows your fishfinder to display, monitor and control up to six downriggers. CanonLink is an add-on option, which must be purchased separately.
Inbuilt digital flasher assists with real-time signal analysis, especially for those who are familiar with, and who like to use flasher technology and display options. A real-time sonar view is also available. The bottom lock maintains a view on bottom structure and the zoom function further assists with signal interpretation. View fish signals as arches or in fish ID mode. Viewing can be paused to provide more time to analyze signal returns. Menu options optimize freshwater or saltwater fishing results.
GPS Receiver This is a 16 channel external GPS receiver which also scans for WAAS and EGNOS signals which when available significantly increase GPS accuracy.
Memory User settings are saved in internal memory when the unit is switched off. A memory card slot is built into the front of the unit, which accepts map upgrades for greater detail, and local map upgrades.
Built In Maps The built-in Unimap has a resolution of 30 m which means that each pixel on the display represents 30 m or approximately 100 feet.
GPS Features The GPS allows up to 3000 waypoints, 50 routes, and 50 tracks. GPS capability can be expanded to the addition of third-party custom maps for example Navionics Gold, or HotMaps premium.
Installation Between 10 and 20 V DC is required for power input. When mounted on the bracket the unit dimensions are 6.9 inches wide by 7.7 inches high by 4.5 inches deep. For installation purposes 3 inches of clearance is required behind the unit. This unit is waterproof and designed for freshwater fishing and saltwater fishing. |
