The Humminbird 957c Combo uses 4 transducer elements to produce a wide 90° sonar coverage area. It is equipped with a GPS receiver antenna and expandable through the addition of third-party mapping software. The results are displayed on a high-resolution 480 x 800 pixel, 8-inch display.

Display
The 8 inch color TFT display has a resolution of 480 vertical pixels by 800 horizontal pixels. It is a specially designed to be viewed in sunlight and bright light conditions. Uses backlight illumination for night fishing and boating.

Fish Finder
A Standard Sonar frequency is transmitted at 83 and 200 kHz with the coverage area of 60° and 20° at -10 DB respectively.

Maximum sonar power output is 500 W RMS and 4000 W peak to peak. The 957C displays depths up to 1500 feet providing optimal water conditions, sonar settings, and transducer installation exists. The Quadrabeam transducer part number is QuadraBeam PLUS- XNT9QB90T.

Quadrabeam does not use Humminbird “Side Imaging” technology. It uses 4 transducer elements to provide a wide 90° coverage area viewable in two dimensions just like a standard single or dual beam display. The side viewing elements transmit a high frequency 455 kHz, which provide excellent target definition, but a depth limitation of 160 feet.

Optionally a 50 and 200 kHz transducer can be installed which effectively doubles maximum depth capability to 3000 feet, because the frequency is lowered by almost half, and the angle coverage area on the low-frequency element is reduced.

Fish Finder Features
Use menus to set up for fresh water fishing or saltwater fishing. Viewable real-time sonar return signals that update to 40 times per second. Add award-winning optional CanonLink package to monitor and control up to six Canon downriggers.

GPS Receiver
The GPS receiver can be mounted externally and is WAAS and EGNOS capable.

Memory
User settings are saved in memory when the unit is turned off. An MMC or SD compatible memory slot accepts third-party maps which expand GPS mapping capabilities.

Built In Maps
The built-in UniMap offers a 30 m or about 100 feet of resolution, which means that each display pixel represents 100 feet.

GPS Features
Set up to 3000 waypoints, 50 routes and 50 tracks. Output NMEA 0183 data. Calculate speed and distance. Install tidal graphs and port services information options.

Installation
This device requires between 10 and 20 V DC. When mounted the dimensions measure 11 1/4 inches wide by 6 3/4 inches high by 4 1/4 inches deep. This unit is waterproof.
