Lowrance LCX 27C Fish Finder GPS 7 Inch Display And Dual Memory SlotsThe Lowrance LCX-27C is a powerhouse of connectivity which communicates with NMEA 2000 plug-and-play devices, NMEA 0183 serial devices, Ethernet, and is Lowrance radar compatible. Standard advantages like a high-resolution color screen, dual frequency sonar options, and high precision 12 channel GPS with WAAS provides comfort and efficiency when using this device.
Display
This 7 inch full VGA display, when measured diagonally, supports a resolution of 480 vertical by 640 horizontal pixels. It offers adjustable backlighting.
Fish Finder
Several options are available including with or without a transducer. Two transducer choices consist of a single frequency 200 kHz package, and a dual frequency 50/200 kHz package. To achieve the maximum depth of 3000 feet, a dual frequency package required in order to use low-frequency signals to penetrate all the way down. Other options to look out for are those that may not include a transducer and/or a GPS receiver antenna.
GPS Receiver
This GPS receiver, and LGC 3000, is a 12 channel parallel receiver antenna with WAAS capabilities which greatly improve accuracy when a signal is available. Not all product options include the receiver antenna, which must be taken into price comparison considerations accordingly.
Memory
A dual memory holder accepts both MMC and SD data cards. GPS and sonar logs can be saved and optional custom maps may be loaded.
Built In Maps
The standard built-in background map is newly enhanced with an additional 3000 inland to lakes showing depth contours.
Features
Standard features are included like sonar depth and fish alarms, GPS off-course and drift alarms. More advanced options include a memory upgrade with over 3000 US inland lake maps. Multiple connectivity options like NMEA 2000 data sharing, high-speed Ethernet links, and NMEA 0183 dual RS-232 ports. The LCD display is specially designed for bright light viewing and wide-angle viewing. Supports up to 1000 waypoints, 1000 event markers, up to 100 routes and 100 plot trails.
Installation
This unit requires a nominal voltage of 12 V DC. The overall dimensions are approximately 9.7 inches wide by 6.8 inches high by 5.2 inches deep. This unit is designed to be waterproof.
