Lowrance LCX 37C Fish Finder GPS 8.4 Inch Display And Dual Memory SlotsThe Lowrance LCX-37C is quite a step up from standard sonar and GPS devices with high and low dual frequency options, full-size high resolution color display, 12 channel GPS with WAAS, dual memory slots, and it connects with multiple technologies like NMEA 2000 plug-and-play, NMEA 0183 serial communications, high-speed Ethernet, and Lowrance radar for overlay views.
Display
The LCX 37C offers a midsize viewing display measuring 8.4 inches diagonally, and a high resolution of 600 vertical pixels by 800 horizontal pixels. The 16-bit color SVGA screen is backlit with fluorescent cold cathode lighting.
Fish Finder
A choice of single or dual frequency packages is available. Single frequency fish finders use a single frequency Skimmer transducer, which operates at 200 kHz. Dual frequency fish finders use a dual frequency Skimmer transducer at a low frequency of 50 kHz and high frequency of 200 kHz. The low frequency signals will penetrate to greater depths and so low frequency is required to reach maximum depth of 3000 feet. Maximum power output will be 1000 W RMS and 8000 W peak to peak.
GPS Receiver
When you purchase the full package option as listed below and LGC 3000 GPS receiver antenna is included. This is a 12 channel GPS receiver which scans simultaneously for up to 12 satellites, determines the best signals, and returns optimal global position coordinates. As noted below some options do not include the LGC 3000 antenna.
Memory
Two memory card slots are available and will accept both MMC data cards and SD data cards.
Built In Maps
The standard built-in background map is newly enhanced with an additional 3000 inland to lakes showing depth contours.
Features
The LCX-37C is outfitted with an upgrade map of 3000 US inland lakes. It is compatible to the latest NMEA 2000 standard providing plug-and-play connectivity to other NMEA devices. The display screen is designed for bright light and wide-angle viewing. Ethernet connectivity is available. This unit is Lowrance radar compatible. There are two serial ports to share NMEA 0183 data. Supports up to 1000 waypoints, 1000 event markers, up to 100 routes and 100 plot trails.
Installation
A 12 V DC nominal power input is required. The device is approximately 8.2 inches high by 12.2 inches wide by 3.6 inches deep. This is a waterproof unit.
