Lowrance LCX 38C HD Fish Finder GPS 8.4 Inch Display And Hard DriveThe Lowrance LCX-38C HD offers serious fishermen in depth technology through the addition of extra maps using an inbuilt 30 GB hard drive, and dual memory card slots to further mapping abilities. This device delivers highly accurate readings through high resolution and high color count display, dual frequency sonar, and 12 parallel channel GPS with WAAS.
Display
A clear middle ground choice for high detail SVGA measuring 8.4 inches diagonally, with 16-bit color, and a resolution of 600 vertical pixels by 800 horizontal pixels. The adjustable backlight offers easy viewing at multiple light levels.
Fish Finder
Two sonar configurations are available, a single frequency 200 kHz package, or a dual frequency 200 kHz/50 kHz package. The dual frequency option is required for maximum potential depth of 3000 feet. The maximum output power is 1000 W RMS or 8000 W peak to peak. Speed, distance, and water temperature readings can be taken depending on the package purchased. In cases where a speed sensor is not included GPS speed data can be used instead.
GPS Receiver
The new 3000 receiver antenna is required for GPS operation and is included in the standard package. This 12 channel parallel receiver is WAAS capable and will produce highly accurate GPS readings when WAAS signals are available. Because several options are available below, the cheapest one may not include a GPS antenna receiver or a transducer or both. Therefore note the product numbers below when comparing prices.
Memory
Sonar and GPS information can be stored to the 30 GB hard drive or to either of the two memory card slots which except MMC and SD data cards.
Built In Maps
The 30 GB hard drive is preloaded with high detailed custom maps including NauticPath USA coastal, Fishing Hotspots Pro inland, and MapCreate USA series 7.
Features
This device is outfitted with a large 30 GB hard drive which comes preloaded with custom GPS mapping. Advanced connectivity features expand data sharing capabilities like NMEA 2000, high-speed Ethernet, NMEA 0183 serial ports, and Lowrance radar compatibility. Supports up to 1000 waypoints, 1000 event markers, up to 100 routes and 100 plot trails.
Installation
A nominal 12 V DC input voltage is required. This unit is approximately 12.2 inches wide by 8.2 inches high by 3.6 inches deep. This unit is waterproof.

#123-51 -- single frequency Skimmer transducer at 200 kHz, sonar temperature sensor, GPS speed and distance, and LGC 3000 receiver antenna.
#123-50 -- dual frequency sonar at 50/200 kHz with Skimmer transducer, temperature/speed/distance readings, without LGC 3000.
#123-49 -- single frequency Skimmer transducer at 200 kHz, temperature sensor, without LGC 3000.
