Dual Frequency - Deep Water

The Lowrance LMS-525c DF has similar functions as the LMS 520C but with the additional capabilities of dual frequency and a deeper range to maximize saltwater results, or downrigger tracking. GPS mapping and sonar readings may be viewed simultaneously on the split screen display. Reference product number 123-36 specifies the unit with included transducer.

Display
The 16-bit color display measuring 5.0 inches diagonally has a resolution of 480 pixels by 480 pixels. The adjustable backlight is activated by toggling the power switch.

Fish Finder
This is a dual frequency fishfinder which operates at 50 and 200 kHz with a cone angle of 35° and 12° respectively. The sonar transmits at a power rating of 3000 W peak to peak or 375 W RMS. A maximum depth of 1000 feet or 305 m can be achieved under optimum conditions. The supplied transducer is a dual frequency Skimmer.

Fish Finder Features
A speed sensor is included with the LMS 525cDF. A surface water temperature sensor is built into the transducer. The sounder will automatically find the bottom and keep it under continuous display, and is called auto-bottom-track, providing convenience during busy navigational tasks. Automatic ranging, and zoom bottom track, with split screen and zoom are some other ways to examine structures and fish signals for hands-off convenience.

GPS Receiver
Mount the 12 parallel channel GPS receiver externally to receive the clearest GPS and WAAS signals.

Memory
Up to 1 GB of mapping memory is allowed and custom maps may be loaded through the memory slot.

Built In Maps
The standard Lowrance background map is installed and ready to go.

GPS Features
Store up to 1000 waypoints and 1000 event markers with a choice from 63 installed icons. By setting audible alarms you will receive alerts when arriving to a destination, when off course, or when drifting at anchor. The zoom feature allows you to view full map range which is 4000 miles across, and then to zoom through 39 increments all the way down to 0.02 miles screen view. Up to 10 languages can be selected.

Installation
Input power requires 10 to 15 V DC. The waterproof case size is 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep.
