Display
The display area is 3.5 inches when measured diagonally. The resolution is 160 pixels by 240 pixels. The screen is backlit with an LED.
Fish Finder
The skimmer transducer has a 20° cone angle while operating at 200 kHz. Fishing electronics detect fish activity within a 60° coverage area, providing conditions are right. Power is transmitted at 800 W peak to peak and 100 watts RMS. The maximum depth capability of this unit is 800 feet or 180 m.
Fish Finder Features
This unit has audible alarms including a shallow water alarm, and a fish detection alarm. Set various auto functions like automatic ranging, auto bottom track, and zoom bottom track. Measure surface water temperature from the installs temperature sensor on the transducer. Up to 10 different languages can be selected.
GPS ReceiverThe internal antenna and receiver scan up to 12 GPS channels in parallel every second. The unit is also WAAS capable, which considerably increases the accuracy.

The M68C S/Map uses a standard Lowrance built in map.
GPS Features
1000 waypoints and 1000 event symbols may be stored in memory. 42 different icons can be used for waypoints or event symbols. Save up to 10 plot trails and 100 routes. Set your audible alarms to alert for off course, our anchor drift problems. Use map zoom to range from 0.02 to 4000 miles.
Installation
Power requirements are 10 to 17 V DC with a current draw a 240ma with the lights on and 170ma with the lights off. The case is waterproof and suitable for fishing in salt water. The case dimensions are 5.8 inches high by 4.3 inches wide by 2.5 inches deep.

The M68c s/map standard product number is 116-03 which includes a transducer. The version without a transducer uses product number 116-05. The version referred to as “Salt Water” is identified with product number 116-07 and reaches to a depth of 800 feet using a specially designed Skimmer for deepwater purposes. |
