Display
This is a monochrome display with four levels of gray scale, measuring 4 inches across the diagonal viewing area. The resolution is 128 vertical pixels and 65 pixels horizontal. The screen and keypad are backlit with incandescent lighting.
Fish Finder
The sonar unit has a frequency of 200 kHz and is used with a Skimmer transducer included in the package. The transducer cone angle is 20° and has a detection coverage of up to 60° using electronics sensitivity settings. It transmits at 800 W peak to peak and 100 W RMS giving a depth capability of 600 feet or 180 m. Maximum depth depends on water conditions and transducer installation.
Features
The 168 Eagle depth finder continuously displays depth changes and fish activity. There is an audible alarm for deep and shallow water and fish detection. This unit will auto track the bottom, has a zoom bottom track, and automatic ranging.
Installation
Input power required is 10 to 17 V DC. Current drain is 110 ma with the lights off and 250 ma with the lights on. The case size is 5.8 inches high by 4.3 inches wide by 2.5 inches deep. The case is sealed and waterproof and specified for saltwater use.
Fish Finder Models
The regular Cuda 168 model number is #110-37 and includes a skimmer transducer. The portable version part number is#110-80 which comes with a packing case and portable Skimmer transducer with a suction cup mounting bracket. |
