Eagle FishEasy 250 DS Fish Finder Big LCD DisplayThe Fisheasy 250 DS is another low cost depth finder from Eagle which is useful for downrigger tactics and saltwater fishing. Long-range readings down to 1000 feet are possible and more easily interpreted from the high detail screen.
Display
This sonar unit has a monochrome display and measures 4.5 inches diagonally. Four levels of grayscale are available for underwater definition. Screen resolution is 240 x 240 pixels. The screen is backlit along with the keypad.
Fish Finder
This Fisheasy device comes with a compact dual search Skimmer transducer with a temperature sensor built in. The operating frequency and is 83 kHz and 200 kHz. The 83 kHz frequency allows them ask depth of 1000 feet or 305 m. Power output is 1500 W peak to peak and 188 W RMS.
Features
An internal memory bank will remember sonar settings so that the user does not have to reset favorite settings every time. The sonar updates and displays fish activity and bottom structure continually. For hands-off monitoring the unit can also bottom track with a zoom function. A split screen view is available. There’s a choice of 11 different languages.
Installation
Input power will require 10 to 17 V DC and the unit has a current drain of 110ma with the light off and 250ma with the light on. Unit dimensions are 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. The housing is specified waterproof and suitable for salt water use.
