Display
This sonar unit has a good-sized display measuring 5 inches diagonally. The settings for viewing are programmable. This display has 320 horizontal pixels by 320 vertical pixels of resolution. Several levels of backlighting are selectable. The keypad is backlit also.
Fish Finder
This sonar depth finder has the ability to reach the maximum depth of 1500 feet or 450 m. This is possible using a low 50 kHz operating frequency with a 35 ° cone angle. As a dual frequency fish finder it returns more precisely defined readings operating at 200 kHz and a more focused 12° cone angle. Power output for this device is 1500 W peak to peak or 188 W RMS.
Features
The SeaFinderŪ 320 continuously updates underwater structure and features and has several convenient settings to automatically view readings. Automated ranging, auto bottom tracking, and zoom tracking are convenient features to have. The split screen option gives the user more control and better feedback. Sonar readings can be stored in built-in memory. Deepwater, shallow water, and fish activity alarms update the boater instantly using an audible signal. The choice of 10 built-in languages is available. An optional speed sensor can be added to track speed and distance.
Installation
10 to 15 V DC are necessary to power unit. The housing size is 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. This is a waterproof casing and designed for saltwater angling.
