The SeaFinder 480 DF is very similar to the Fishmark 480 but with dual frequency. The SeaFinder 480 is a full-size depth finder with full-size features and capabilities. Although fitted with a monochrome screen detailed definition is delivered.

Display
The 5 inch monochrome display when measured diagonally is a full-size fishfinder display. View settings are programmable. It is a high-resolution screen with 480 vertical pixels and 480 horizontal pixels. The screen uses 16 levels of grayscale, and is backlit incandescently with multiple lighting levels. The keypad is also backlit.

Fish Finder
A dual frequency depth finder with an operational frequency of 50 kHz and 200 kHz, it comes equipped with a transducer with a 35° and 12° cone angle respectively. Power output is 1500 W peak to peak or 188 W RMS. This gives a depth capability of 1500 feet or 450 m. Maximum depth capability will depend on water conditions, transducer installation, and fishfinder settings.

Features
A transducer with built-in temperature sensor is included with the package. This fishfinder continuously displays bottom contours and structure, and fish activity both mid-water and deep down. To assist the operator it has automatic ranging, auto bottom tracking, zoom bottom tracking, and split screen zoom. It also measures surface water temperature. Audible alarms include: the water alarm, shallow water alarm, and fish alarm. Sonar records can be stored using the built-in databank. 10 languages are available.

Installation
10 to 15 V DC is required to powered his unit. The overall dimensions are 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. This is a waterproof fishfinder and good for salt water use.
