Commercial Echo Sounder

The Furuno FCV-292 is a cost-effective dual frequency fish finder for professional fisherman. A large 10 inch screen presents seabed conditions and fish presence through a variety of display modes. Although classified as an echo sounder, navigational data can be displayed through connected GPS devices.

Display
Measured diagonally, this is a 10 inch display supports 16 colors depending on returned signal strength. It is possible to enter into monochrome mode. Background colors are selectable.

Fish Finder
This is a dual frequency fishfinder with operational frequencies of 28, 38, 50, 88 or 200 kHz . The 38 kHz transducer must be locally purchased or otherwise arranged. Output power can be 1, 2 or 3 kW RMS. A range of up to 1500 feet can be displayed. Speed and temperature sensors must be added separately.

Features
Marker zoom allows any portion of the water column to be zoomed and displayed on the left-hand view of the split screen. Bottom zoom follows the bottom contour automatically. Bottom lock displays seabed contour as one straight line to assist with identifying fish close to or on the bottom. Navigational data can be displayed through connected GPS data. A-Scope allows instantaneous echo feedback observations. Background color can be changed for better viewing depending on conditions.

Installation
Two voltage ranges are available 10.5 to 20 V DC or 18 to 40 V DC and must be taken into consideration when ordering. Power consumption is rated at 45 W using a 1 kW transducer, 48 W using a 2 kW transducer, and 50 W using 83 kW transducer. The overall dimensions are 12.6 inches high by 11.5 inches wide by 17.6 inches deep. This unit can be mounted in an overhead compartment or tabletop location.
