Dual Frequency Color Video

The Furuno FCV582 is ideal for recreational or commercial fishing. With a multitude of options and settings, sonar data and optional GPS or weather data can be displayed from one single unit. Detailed bottom structure and fish images are available to serious recreational or commercial fishermen.

Display
This is a 6.5 inch color TFT LCD display with eight or 16 colors depending on Echo readings. It can also display in eight level monochrome.

Fish Finder
The transmission frequencies are 50 kHz or 200 kHz. 600 W RMS of output power delivers a display capability of up to 2500 feet. Pulse widths vary from 0.13 to 3.6 ms. The sonar unit delivers a maximum pulse transmission rate of 1500 pulses per minute. Single frequency transducers will require a matching box part number MB-1000.

Features
This is a compact echo sounder with a bright 6.5 inch color LCD display. Convenient display settings include bottom lock, dual frequency, single frequency, and bottom zoom. Additional data can be displayed like navigational data as long as a correct input source is available from a GPS. Automatic ranging provides convenient operation. Alarms for shallow water, fish, and temperature can easily be set. Real-time display on A-Scope works well for bottom trawler and trap users. Power consumption is less than 20 W.

Installation
Power supply requirements are 12 to 24 V DC and 1.5 to 0.5 amps. The waterproof casing is approved to IPX5. This aluminum cased display unit should be installed in a protected area. When mounted on a pedestal the overall height will be 9 inches in the overall width will be 9.5 inches in the overall depth will be 4.6 inches.

Furuno specifies only one product number which is the FCV 582 L and transducers must be purchased as a package offer from an online store, may be purchased separately depending on the installation needs.
