Furuno FCV620 Fish Finder Dual Frequency - Multiple DisplayThe Furuno FCV-600L is a dual frequency sounder, with a color display screen. This model is ideal for small fishing boats and recreational boats. External inputs can be displayed including GPS inputs with the proper options installed.
Display
The display unit is a 5.6 inch color TFT LCD. 16 colors can be displayed as a function of returned signal strength. Monochrome view is also available.
Fish Finder
This is a dual frequency fishfinder transmitting at 50 kHz and 200 kHz. The output power is 350 W RMS. The maximum transmission rate is 1500 pulses per minute. Each pulse width can be from 0.125 to 3.0 ms in length. The transducer accommodates dual frequency from one mold.
Features
The echo sounder displays single frequency signals either at 50 kHz or 200 kHz, or it will display both simultaneously. Bottom zoom and bottom lock functions are available. Real-time sonar readings can be made. Alarms can be set for fish, depth, or temperature. The unit can be set to auto mode. Split screen view is available. When connected to a GPS, navigation readings can be displayed. The display case is waterproof.
Installation
Input power of 12 to 24 V DC along with 1.0 to 0.5 amps of current with a rated power consumption of 15 W or less. When mounted on a pedestal the device height is 8.9 inches by an overall width of 8.7 inches and a dept of 4.1 inches. The unit is water resistant to IPX5.
Fish Finder Models
Furuno only specifies one model number that is the FCV600L and a transducer must be purchased separately. However some online stores may package a transducer to provide lower packaged cost. See store descriptions for details.
