Dual Frequency -CRT- With Input Options

The Furuno FCV-667 is a dual frequency echo sounder which includes an abundance of standard features and also data transfer options for example GPS readout capabilities. Dual frequencies can be observed together, separately, or in split screen mode. Convenience is added using the available Auto functions.

Display
A cathode ray tube (CRT) color display that differs from many recreational models. It is a color model that can display eight colors at a resolution of 232 x 240 pixels. The CRT will also display monochrome amber in 8 shading levels.

Fish Finder
This dual frequency echo sounder transmits alternatively at 50 kHz and 200 kHz under 300 W of power. Transmission rates and pulse widths change according to the depth. At maximum depth of 300 m or about 1000 feet the pulse width is 3 ms and the transmission rate is 50 pulses per minute. At a depth of 3 meters or about 20 feet the pulse width is 0.2 ms while the transmission rate is 600 pulses per minute.

FeaturesThis depth finder will alarm on fish presence, shallow water, and temperature readings. It will automatically adjust viewing range and signal gain. It can display high-frequency, low frequency, and both high and low frequency together on a split screen. It will accept an NMEA input and provide outputs. The unit can operate as a navigational instrument through inputting correctly formatted GPS data sentence from an external device. Real-time echo readings can be viewed on the A-scope display.

Installation
A power supply of 12 to 24 V DC is needed with a current draw of 2.5 to 1.25 amps. When installed unit dimensions are 7.7 inches high by 9.8 inches wide by 9.4 inches deep. The display unit is waterproofed to IPX4.
