Furuno LS6100 Fish Finder Dual Frequency - 6 Inch Display The Furuno LS 6100 is a dual frequency echo sounder with a large six-inch bright LCD screen which delivers unique clarity of bottom structures and fish activity. Offering the standard important fishfinder functions and when connected to external sensors like a GPS will display other important information.
Display
This is a monochrome LCD display with four levels of grayscale. The screen resolution is 240 horizontal pixels by 320 vertical pixels. The display size is 6 inches diagonally.
Fish Finder
This echo sounder transmits at a frequency of 50 kHz or 200 kHz and dual transmitting is provided. The output power is 300 W RMS. Pulses transmit at a maximum rate of 550 pulses per minute. Pulse widths can be from 0.1 to 1.0 ms. Maximum depth displays at 1500 feet or 500 m.
Features
Display modes include single frequency, dual frequency, bottom lock, bottom zoom, and navigational data. For convenient operation automatic range and gain adjustments can be set. Several audible and visual alarms are provided like shallow water, fish, speed, and temperature.
Installation
The unit operates at 12 V DC nominal and requires a nominal currents of 0.8 amps. It is water proof to IPX5. When mounted the unit size is 232 mm high by 221 mm wide by 111 mm deep.
Fish Finder Models
Typically a transducer is not supplied with the LS 6100 and must be purchased separately. There is an advantage to this in that a quality transducer with correct configuration like through hull or transom mount may be purchased.
