The dual beam version more suited to freshwater and shallow water with a wider cone angle generates 400 W RMS and 3200 W peak to peak. Operating at 80 kHz or 200 kHz and has a max depth capability of 900 feet.
Features The Garmin 400 C. is dual frequency or dual beam sonar capable. It works on either of these configurations depending on the transducer model purchased. There is a split screen zoom. Auto gain helps to automatically filter excess noise. By default audible alarms are turned off but you can set the unit to alarm for shallow water, fish detection, water temperature, low-voltage, and drift.
