Humminbird 525 Fish Finder Humminbird Big Screen PerformanceDisplay
The Humminbird 525 has a 5 inch diagonal display size. This is a 12 level grayscale monochrome unit with 240 vertical pixels and 240 horizontal pixels. This unit is backlit with an LED.
Fish Finder
The 525 is a single beam package optimized for 20° coverage at -10 DB. The power output is 200 W RMS and 1600 W peak-to-peak allowing a maximum depth capability of 800 feet. At an operating frequency of 200 kHz this unit is primed to clearly distinguish fish and bottom structure.
Features
A depth alarm alerts shallow water conditions, the fish alarm detects fish activity and the battery alarm alerts for low battery condition. There are four zoom levels with the highest being 8X. When in Zoom view the screen can be split into Zoom Preview and Zoomed View. Zoomed Preview on the right hand side of the display is selected as the Zoom area, which is then shown on the left-hand side of the display.
Installation
Power input requirements for 525 Humminbird is 10 to 20 V DC. The fish finder device can be placed on the tilt and swivel quick disconnect for easy installation, transfer, our storage purposes. When mounted in this way the unit size is 7 inches high by 7 1/4 inches wide by 4 inches deep. The 525 is gasketed and specified waterproof with floating abilities.
