Humminbird 575 Fish Finder Ultra-Wide, 90 Degree ViewDisplay The new 575 Humminbird fish finder display has a full 16 level grayscale monochrome LCD screen. This high contrast high-resolution screen has a resolution of 640 vertical pixels by 320 horizontal pixels. A night viewing backlight is built in.
Fish Finder This unit stands out because it's a Quadrabeam sonar, and so it sends out four beams using four different element crystals. The high definition 200 kHz signal points straight down with 20° coverage at –10 DB. The lower frequency 83 kHz signal points straight down but with a wider coverage area of 60°. For ultra high definition side looking sonar point out to port and starboard with 35° coverage at 455 kHz. This Hummingbird 575 fish finder has the power output of 250 W RMS and 2000 W peak to peak giving a depth capability of 800 feet maximum, depending of course on water conditions and installation. The unit is supplied with a Quadra beam plus transducer for transom mounting.
Features The Humminbird 575 fish finder has a very wide coverage area as already noted. Because it is using Quadrabeam Plus the return signals can be viewed separately. Two beams point straight down, i.e. the 20° coverage at 200 kHz and the 60° coverage at 83 kHz can be viewed separately. The side signals with 35° coverage each and at 450 kHz can be viewed separately also in conjunction with the 200 kHz display.
The Humminbird 575 split screen splits up sonar returns and also splits up Zoom views. Full range depth is visible on the right hand side of the display and is available to choose the zoom area which is then displayed on the left-hand side.
The 575 displays real-time sonar with raw signals displayed instantly in the form of horizontal bars on the far right of the screen.
Big digit display improves viewing ability from a distance.
Depth, fish ID, low battery, and surface temperature alarms can be set.
Installation Just like other fish finders in the Humminbird 500 series the 575 fish finder requires between 10 and 20 V DC power input. The unit is mounted on a tilt and swivel bracket with a quick disconnect plug-in for convenient installation and removal. The overall dimensions when mounted are 7 inches high by 7 1/4 inches wide by 4 inches deep.
Transducer Parts The standard transducer part number is XNT-9-20-T per the Humminbird 575 web page, and XT 6TB 90 T per the manual. |
