Humminbird 585c Fish Finder Large, Brilliant Color TFT ScreenDisplay
Humminbird 585C is a 256 color TFT screen that is sunlight viewable. Diagonally it measures 5 inches from corner to corner. It has a high pixel count of 320 vertical pixels by 240 horizontal pixels. Along with a CCFL backlight the screen colors are selectable for different viewing conditions.
Fish Finder
The 585C Humminbird is outfitted with a single beam sonar transducer working at 20° coverage at -10 DB. The operating frequency is 200 kHz. The power output is 300 W RMS and 2400 W peak to peak. The maximum depth capability is 1000 feet.
Features
Unlike other 500 series depth finders the 585C is a color device. Other than that it has similar features like real-time sonar, sonar zoom view, big digits view. It is also fitted with standard alarms like shallow water, fish ID, low battery, and temperature alarms.
Installation
The Humminbird 585 C includes a transom mount transducer. A tilt and swivel quick disconnect bracket is also supplied, which is quite convenient when transferring the unit from your vessel to storage. When mounted the overall dimensions are 7 inches high by 7 1/4 inches wide by 4 inches deep. The device will need 10 to 20 V DC input power.
