Display
The 717 Humminbird fishfinder has a 5 inch diagonal monochrome screen with 16 levels of gray scale for high definition viewing. The screen resolution is 320 vertical pixels by 320 horizontal pixels. Nighttime viewing is possible with the installed adjustable backlight.
Fish Finder
The 717 depth finder has a power output of 300 W RMS and 2400 W peak to peak. This is a dual beam unit operating at 200 kHz and 83 kHz. The sonar coverage area is 20° at -10 DB and 60° at -10 DB respectively. Depending on water conditions and good transducer installation the maximum depth capability is 1000 feet.
Features
This unit can be mounted in dash with a 5.4 high by 6.9 wide footprint. A digital flasher is included which along with side screen real-time feedback, assists with real-time sonar interpretations. A handheld GPS receiver can be added for data input. A PC connection is available. Optimization choices for saltwater or freshwater fishing can be displayed. Eight times zoom level can be displayed.
Installation
Power requirements are 10 to 20 V DC and a tilt and swivel mount is standard with dimensions when installed at 6.9 inches wide by 7.7 inches high by 4.5 inches deep. A quick disconnect mechanism assists with installation and removal for storage purposes.
