Color Fishing System

The Humminbird 747C is a step up in the 700 series because of its color display. Of course all the better features of the 700 series are included like network ability and NMEA connectivity, and DualBeam plus. The 747 fishfinder is equipped with only dual beam and not Quadrabeam.

Display
The 747C has a 256 color TFT and sunlight viewable display and the size is 5 inches when measured diagonally. The pixel count is 320 vertical pixels by 240 horizontal pixels. The backlight is adjustable for night fishing.

Fish Finder
This is a dual beam fishfinder with coverage areas of 20° and 60° at -10 DB and with operatiing frequencies of 200 kHz and 83 kHz respectively. The power output is 500 W RMS and 4000 W peak to peak giving a maximum depth capability of 1500 feet. A transom mount transducer is included in the package.

Features
This is a GPS ready device and and track plotting capable. It stores 750 waypoints, 10 tracks and each track can have 2000 points each. It is networkable through NMEA 0183 to other devices also. A water temperature sensor is included in the transducer. The tilt and swivel mounting uses a quick disconnect for easy installation and removal. 90° QuadraBeam Plus transducers are optional. The unit can be mounted in dash with optional mounting. Real-time readings can be viewed on a digital flasher display. A PC connection port is available to save waypoints and upgrade software. A larger font digital readout can be selected. The unit can be optimized for fresh water or salt water conditions. There are four adjustable zoom levels. Alarms include a depth alarm, the fish ID alarm, and a low battery alarm.

Installation
The unit needs 10 to 20 V DC input power. A tilt and swivel housing is supplied and the overall measurement when installed is 6.9 inches wide by 7.7 inches high by 4.5 inches deep. The unit is designed to be waterproof.
