Display
This fishfinder has a 5 inch diagonal monochrome viewing display. The resolution is 240 vertical pixels by 240 horizontal pixels with 12 levels of gray scale. Backlight is included.
Fish Finder
With 240 W RMS and 2000 W peak to peak power output, this unit delivers a max depth capability of 800 feet. A single operating frequency of 200 kHz provides sonar coverage of 20° at -10 DB.
Features
Real-time sonar is displayed on the screen. It's not a feature for everybody but sometimes the instant feedback gives experienced users a better sense of what is going on underneath the boat. Real-time sonar is presented on the right side of the display as a series of black bars. The longer the bar the more intense the signal, grayscale shading is not used here.
Sonar zoom view allows closer examination of the depth finder results. By selecting a section of water on the right side of the screen it can be displayed up to eight times magnification on the right side of the screen.
A built-in simulator allows you to get familiar with the device before taking it on the water.
Built-in alarms include a depth alarm, a fish ID alarm, and a low battery alarm
Installation
The required installation power input is 10 to 20 V DC. A tilt and swivel unit mounting is included with overall dimensions 7 inches high by a 7 1/4 inches wide by 4 inches deep.
