Lowrance X136 DF Fish Finder Deep Salt Water & DownriggersDisplay With a high pixel count and 16 levels of grayscale the X136 DF is a serious choice for most applications. The X125, X126, X135 and X136 series of Lowrance fish finders have the same display characteristics. They are all monochrome units with a 480 x 480 pixel resolution. The display has a 5 inch viewing diagonal. The X136 DF and the X135 are backlit with white LEDs, while the X126 DF and the X125 are backlit with amber LEDs.
Fish Finder The Lowrance X136 DF operates at 50 or 200 kHz using a dual frequency SkimmerŪ transducer with cone angles of 35° and 12° respectively. Peak to peak power is 4000 W with 500 W RMS to achieve a depth finding capability of 2500 feet or 762 m. The capability of the depth finder depends on water conditions and installation quality.
Features Depth is continuously displayed. Audible alarms for shallow water and fish activity can be set. The unit displays bottom tracking automatically and can be viewed in split screen zoom mode. Surface water temperature readings are sent from the temperature sensor in the transducer to the unit display screen. Speed readings will require an extra optional speed sensor. Sonar records can be stored in built-in memory. 10 languages are installed. The X136 DF is NMEA 2000 compliant.
Installation Important - before installation read manual and addendum for information related to temperature sensor installation. The unit requires 10 to 15 V DC. The unit dimensions are 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. The casing is sealed and specified waterproof and suitable for saltwater use.
