Lowrance X52 Fish Finder 200 kHz Compact MonochromeLowrance X52 and X59 DF are similar in appearance and operation except that the X52 operates at a single frequency and is more suited to freshwater or shallow conditions.
Display
This unit has a monochrome display with a 4 inch viewing area of 240 vertical and 160 horizontal pixel resolution. The screen and keypad are backlit with a white LED for low light and night conditions.
Fish Finder
The single frequency transducer transmits at 200 kHz with a 20° cone angle and detection ability up to 60°. The transmitter operates at 1500 W peak to peak or 188 W RMS power. This gives a depth capability of 800 feet or 244 m at 200 kHz, and depends on water conditions and transducer installation quality.
Features
The X52 continuously outputs depth and fish readings, and audible alarms can be set for shallow water and fish detection. For convenience, automatic ranging, and bottom tracking are viewable using the split screen zoom. Optional temperature and speed sensors are required to display surface temperature and boat speed.
Installation
10 to 17 V DC input voltage is required and 300 ma of current with lights off and 400 ma with lights on. This is a sealed unit and specified waterproof and suitable for saltwater use. This compact unit measures 5.2 inches high by 5.4 inches wide by 2.6 inches deep.
