Display
The monochrome display with 240 vertical pixels and 160 horizontal pixels measures 4.0 inches or 10.2 cm diagonally. The screen and keypad are backilit in white light for night use.
Fish Finder
The X59 DF operates at either 50 or 200 kHz with 35° or 12° cone angles respectively. With high sensitivity settings Lowrance specifies fish readings up to 60° cone angle. Power transmitted at 1500 W peak to peak or 188 W RMS. This gives a capability for readings to 800 feet or 244 m while operating at 200 kHz, and 1500 feet or 450 m while operating at 50 kHz.
Features
Audible alarms activate for shallow water or fish activity. Automatic ranging and bottom tracking are viewable with split screen zoom. Speed and temperature sensors are options that may be purchased separately.
Installation
The X59 DF model requires 10 to 17 V DC, and 300 ma current with the lights off and 400 ma the lights on. The housing is sealed and specified waterproof and suitable for saltwater use. Housing dimensions are 5.2 inches high by 5.4 inches wide by 2.6 inches deep.
