GPS The receiver antenna is an external 12 parallel channel GPS/WAAS.
Display It uses a 5 inch monochrome display which can be optimized for viewing preference. The resolution is 408 pixels by 480 pixels. High-definition monochrome can be achieved with 16 levels of gray scale. An incandescent backlight brightens up this display in low light or darkness.
Memory 256 MB of mapping memory is available. One memory slot, which is SD card compatible, allows recording of trip coordinates and chart or custom map display. A backup memory also stores sonar records and GPS data.
Built In Maps The built-in background map is a medium detail US map which includes 60,000 navigational aids and 10,000 wrecks are obstructions in US and Great Lakes waters. Metro areas, interstates, state highways, and major rivers and lakes are also shown.
Waypoints and Routes Up to 1000 waypoints and 1000 event markers can be stored. 42 marker symbols are available. 100 routes are allowed with up to 100 waypoints in each route. 10 plot trails can be saved with up to 10,000 points per plot trail.
More Features Zoom view has 39 ranges going from 0.02 to 4000 miles. Audible alarms can be set for a rival, off course, and anchor positions. Optional custom mapping and third-party mapping can be added through MMC cards. This unit operates in 10 different languages.
Installation Required input power is 10 to 15 V DC. The case sizes 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. The case is sealed and good for salt water use. |
