GPS
An external GPS receiver antenna is provided and is best installed with a clear view to the sky and has a magnetic base for quick attachments to ferrous surfaces (except stainless steel of course).
Display
This is a highly detailed 256 color display, with 640 vertical pixels and 480 horizontal pixels. All of this is packed into a 5 inch TFT LCD screen. Keypad and screen backlighting can be adjusted to several levels.
Memory
2 GB of mapping memory are available. There is one waterproof MMC slot, which is SD card compatible. Trip coordinates and charts can be stored or loaded from memory cards. The unit also has a backup memory to store user settings.
Built In Maps
The standard background map is installed with a medium level USA detail and includes 60,000 navigational aids, and displays 10,000 wrecks or obstructions in the US coastal waters and Great Lakes waters.
Waypoints and Routes
Store up to 1000 positional waypoints, and 1000 markers using the icon list with 42 included icons. Save 100 routes with the possibility of 100 waypoints per route. Save up to 10 plot trails with up to 10,000 points per plot trail.
More Features
Set up your audible alarms to alert you for arrivals, off course conditions, and anchor drift. Zoom from 0.02 to 4000 miles over 40 easily selectable keypad ranges. 10 languages are available.
Installation
Voltage input requirements are 10 to 15 V DC. Current drain will be 700ma with the lights in use. The unit size is 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. This device is ready for salt water boating and is sealed and waterproof. |
