GPS
This convenient space-saving GPS/WAAS unit operates with an internal receiver antenna with 12 parallel channels.

Display
This nice sized 5 inch color display is ideal for detailed viewing with its 640 horizontal pixels and 480 vertical pixels. This is a high resolution machine. The screen is backlit with multiple lighting levels which comes in very handy for nighttime navigation and night fishing.

Memory
Up to 2 GB of mapping memory is available. There is also unavailable MMC slot which is SD card compatible. Third party are custom charts can be loaded from cards or GPS coordinates can be saved. This unit also has backup memory to store user settings and GPS data.

Built In Maps
A medium detailed map of the USA and Hawaii is built in. The map will conveniently identify 60,000 navigational aids around the US coastline. Sports fishing enthusiasts will delight in the 10,000 wrecks and obstruction icons displayed on the built-in map. Navigational aids and wrecks are included for Great Lakes waters as well.

Waypoints and Routes
1000 waypoints 1000 event marker icons can be saved. Choose from 42 different events icons. Save up to 10 plot trails with 10,000 points per plot trail. Save 100 routes with up to 100 waypoints in each route.

More Features
Expand mapping by adding custom maps and third-party maps for ultra detailed navigation. Zoom across 40 different ranges from 0.02 to 4000 miles. Choose from up to 10 different languages on the menu.

Installation
10 to 15 V DC are required to operate the 642C. With the lights in operation expect a current draw 700ma. The unit size is 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. This GPS chart plotter is ready for salt water use. The casing is sealed and waterproof.
