Garmin GPSMAP 376C GPS Portable NEXRAD and Satellite Radio CapableThe portable Garmin GPSMAP 376C is an all-in-one satellite receiver for Marine and land based use. The standard version product number with built-in internal antenna and receiver is 010-00438-00.
GPS
The GPS receiver operates on 12 parallel channels and is differential ready. Expect inaccuracy of 49 feet or 15 m using regular GPS signals. United States Coast Guard differential GPS improves accuracy down to 10 to 16 feet or 3 to 5 m. WAAS differential GPS offers below 10 feet of accuracy or 3 m.
Antenna
The GXM 30 antenna is installed internally to GPS. Boaters get access to NEXRAD radar, lightning, wind speed, and wave direction data with a subscription to XM WX Satellite Weather. Also, satellite radio capabilities are built in to the 376C allowing over 150 digital channels of music, news and more.
Display
The display size is 3.0 inches by 2.2 inches or 3.75 inches when measured diagonally. This color display offers a superb resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, with 256 different colors.
Memory
Mapping memory is not available but maps can be loaded through a card slot built for only Garmin data cards.
Built In Maps
A base map is included.
Waypoints and Routes
Up to 3000 waypoints and 50 routes can be stored.
More Features
A built-in lithium-ion battery allows this GPS to be fully mobile. To maximize battery life, use the backlight sparingly. Auto routing provides automatically generated directions but without voice prompts.
Installation
This unit uses a power source from 11 to 35 V DC. The case is waterproof to IPX7. The unit dimensions are 5.7 inches wide by 3.2 inches high by 1.9 inches deep. Unit weight is 13.6 ounces. |
