Portable Color GPS

The portable Garmin GPSMAP 378 will guide you by voice directions on land and navigational aids on water. Quickly disconnect from a boat and connect on your vehicle. The standard product number with internal antenna is 010-00542-00. Note: An external speaker is required for audio functions including satellite radio. A subscription service is required for other satellite data services other than GPS and DGPS.

GPS
The receiver is differential ready with 12 are channels. GPS accuracy is 49 feet or 15 m, differential GPS can achieve inaccuracy of 10 to 16 feet with US Coast Guard differential GPS, or an accuracy of 10 feet or less than 3 m with WAAS differential GPS.

Antenna
The antenna is detachable and can be replaced with a GXM 30 XM antenna for satellite weather and radio services. The detachable antenna easily rotates downwards and collapses for storage.

Display
The display size is 3.0 inches wide by 2.2 inches high and is 3.75 inches when measured diagonally. This backlit display has a high color count of 256 colors and a high resolution of 480 pixels by 320 pixels. The keypad is also backlit.

Built In Maps
North American City Navigator maps are built in. Also, the 378 come comes preloaded with detailed US Inland Lakes data map. Each map has a resolution of 10 m (or about 30 feet), which means that each pixel on your GPS display would represent 10 m of terrain. Over 3200 highly detailed lake maps are available with extras including rivers, creek channels, and both ramps.

Waypoints and Routes
Up to 3000 waypoints and 50 routes can be stored.

More Features
The rechargeable lithium ion battery will last from 4 to 15 hours depending on the amount of back a light use, and the amount of weather station, and radio station use.

Installation
11 to 35 V DC will power this GPS unit. The unit size is 5.7 inches wide by 3.2 inches high by 1.9 inches deep. Its weight is 14 ounces. The case is fully waterproof to IPX seven. A rechargeable battery included.
