Lowrance GlobalMap 5200C GPS Marine GPS - Radar Ready The New GlobalMap 5200c is an affordable color package with a high-resolution screen which allows NMEA 2000 connectivity and is an affordable radar display. GPS
The GPS/WAAS 12 channel receiver and antenna is external to the unit. The Lowrance LGC-3000 external receiver antenna unit is included.
Display
The display is 5 inches when measured from corner to corner. It is a color LCD that can be programmed for optimal conditions. They screen resolution is a high 480 x 480 pixels. Back lighting is incandescent with several lighting levels to choose from. The keypad is also backlit.
Memory
Up to 1 GB of memory mapping is available. A waterproof memory slot accepts MMC and SD cards for custom maps and recording GPS data. Third-party maps can be accessed through memory cards. Internal backup memory stores user settings and data when the instrument is switched off.
Built In Maps
Lowrance maps are built in and contain high detail of continental US and Hawaii. 60,000 navigational aids and 10,000 wrecks or obstructions are ideal boater and angling reference. These features take in US coastal waters and Great Lakes.
Waypoints and Routes
1000 waypoints in 1000 event markers can be set. There are 42 different event marker icons. 100 routes can be recorded with up to 100 waypoints per route. 10 plot trails are savable with up to 9999 points per trail.
More Features
Ethernet connectivity is built in. It is compatible with NMEA 2000 data sharing devices. It can double as a radar display. There are 39 ranges in zoom view going from 0.02 to 4000 miles.
Installation
This unit requires 10 to 15 V DC. The overall case dimensions are 5.4 inches high by 6.9 inches wide by 3.4 inches deep. It's a waterproof case and suitable for saltwater boating. |
