The GlobalMap 8300c HD Chartplotter is a new addition to Lowrance chart plotters. Highly detailed maps stored on the 30 GB internal hard drive are displayed using high pixel counts and 16-bit color, on a sun readable screen. High-performance features include dual memory slots, Ethernet connectivity, and dual RS-232 COM ports.

This precise GPS/WAAS receiver antenna precision will thrill boaters fishing in various locations that have little margin for error. With 12 input channels and an open sky view, a high degree of GPS accuracy can be expected.

The 8300C has a large 8.4 inch screen and high resolution to match. 600 vertical pixels by 800 horizontal pixels provide high definition viewing and precise navigation. The 16-bit color screen is capable of outputting 256 colors. Boating and fishing enthusiasts will appreciate this high performance display both during the day and night when using the multi-level backlight.

Waterproof memory slots allow MMC or SD memory to be used to load data points and transfer data. Memory cards allow the installation of third-party software like Navionics charts.

Lowrance GlobalMap hard drive GPS units arrive with highly detailed maps preinstalled on the 30 GB hard drive. Navionics and other third-party map software can be used should it be necessary.

Up to 1000 waypoints and event markers can be saved in this one little unit. 100 routes and plot trails can be saved also. Each plot trail can have 10,000 points.

Direct plug-and-play with other NMEA 2000 devices, and networks. Expand capabilities even further using the Ethernet connection on the rear of the unit. Why not investigate advanced features like radar overlay? There are two RS-232 COM ports at the back of the unit, which can connect to radar, autopilot, and more.
