Connectivity All Around

The GlobalMap 9200c Chartplotter ensures top-notch viewability with its 10.4 inch display; ultimate precision through the externally mounted receiver antenna; and several expansion possibilities through memory cards, Ethernet, and two RS-232 serial ports.

GPS
The GPS receiver is an external LGC 3000 typically mounted with full sky view. Added WAAS capability is installed to provide an even greater level of navigational precision. This is a 12 channel parallel receiver.

Display
The 9200 has a 10.4 inch diagonal display with 600 vertical pixels and 800 horizontal pixels. 16-bit color TFT super VGA provides 256 different colors. Backlight intensity level can be adjusted by toggling the light button. Back lighting is useful to many fishermen who like to night fish and use their navigation instruments in darkness.

Memory
Data can be loaded and stored on either MMC or SD memory cards which can both be installed at the same time. Memory cards can also be used to load third-party maps, e.g. Navionics charts.

Built In Maps
Along with low detailed world maps the built-in map displays a medium detailed view of the United States. Medium detailed gives us all incorporated cities, metropolitan areas, public lands, and large and medium-sized lakes and streams. A recently enhanced version has added better definition, shoreline position, depth contours, and other underwater features to 3000 lake maps.

Waypoints and Routes
If waypoints make you happy, you will be very happy with the 9200C because you can store up to 1000 waypoints and 1000 event markers in this unit. 100 routes and 100 plot trails can be saved too. Each plot trail can have up to 10,000 points.

More Features
Easily connect NMEA 2000 devices on a network. The Ethernet connection on the reverse side of the unit provides even more connectivity. Did we mention radar overlay abilities on the list of advanced features? Connect to a radar using one of the two NMEA 0183 RS-232 ports on the rear of the unit.
