Lowrance iFINDER Expedition C GPS Full Featured With MP3 RecordingThe Lowrance iFinder Expedition is a great looking GPS mapping device and MP3 player combined. It can also display a digital compass with map overlay. It is an affordable fully featured GPS. You may find it the right size at the right price. The part number is 12-871.
GPS
An internal receiver and antenna receives up to 16 parallel channels of GPS, WAAS, and EGNOS signals. An external antenna is optional.
Antenna
Active antenna voltage is 3 V DC.
Display
This high resolution color LCD display boasts 320 pixels by 240 pixels. 256 colors are available. The screen size is 2.83 inches when measured diagonally. A white LED backlight can be used for night time viewing.
Memory
The unit has 1 GB of mapping memory built-in. A waterproof memory slot inside the battery compartment accepts MMC more SD memory cards. The memory cards may include custom or third-party mapping information like Navionics® charts.
Built In Maps
A detailed Lowrance map is built-in with medium detail USA maps displaying incorporated cities, interstates and exits, state highways, and service information. The less detailed world map is also included.
Waypoints and Routes
Up to 1000 waypoints and 1000 event marker icons can be stored. There are 42 different marker icons to choose from. The unit will also store 100 routes and 99 plot trails.
More Features
Built-in audible alarms can be set for off-course, destination, and anchor alerts. Built in microphone for waypoints a voice notes. Plays MP3 audio files from memory cards.
Installation
It uses to 1.5 V AA batteries and can operate for up to 12 hours when using one second updates. It can also be plugged into a cigarette lighter would be included adapter. The overall dimensions are 5.6 inches high by 2.5 inches wide by 0.9 inches deep. It is water resistance to IPX7. The weight of the unit with batteries is 8.40 ounces. |
