Lowrance iFINDER Explorer GPS High Precision HandheldThe Lowrance iFINDER Explorer product number 112-841 is a versatile portable GPS unit offering precise navigation. It provides excellent map definition through the large 3-inch screen and a high-resolution LCD display. A digital compass and altimeter can also be displayed.

Internal receiver with 12 parallel channels providing GPS, WAAS, and EGNOS signals. An external antenna is optional.

Display
This portable GPS has a large display measuring 3 inches diagonally. It is a monochrome display with 16 levels of gray scale. The screen resolution is 240 pixels by 180 pixels. It is backlit using a white LED.
Memory
Up to 1 GB of mapping memory is available. Additionally MMC or SD memory cards can be installed inside a battery compartment. The cards allow recording and transfer of personal trip data to a PC or another GPS. Custom third-party maps can be accepted from memory cards, e.g. NauticPath ™ USA, Fishing HotSpots Elite,
FreedomMaps™, LakeMaster ProMaps and Navionics charts.
Built In Maps
The standard Lowrance map is built in with medium level detail USA maps and low-level detail world maps. USA maps will indicate interstate highways and exits, state highways, and service information.
Waypoints and Routes
This GPS unit stores 1000 waypoints in 1000 events symbols. There are 42 symbols to choose from. 100 routes can be saved, and 99 plot trails.
More Features
Audible alarms can be set for a rival coordinates and anchor coordinates. A COM port can be used for NMEA data transfer using an optional cable.
Installation
It uses to AA 1.5 V DC batteries and can operate up to 12 hours in constant use with one second updates. A cigarette lighter power adapter is included. The unit size is 5.6 inches high by 2.5 inches wide by 0.9 inches deep and weighs 8.48 ounces. It is waterproof to IPX7. |
